i have the Samson R10S microphone but when plug it into my ipod touch for the voice recorder it doesn't even reginster the mic (even with a specialised ipod adapter)
Also when i plugged the mic into my PC for recording sounds, even if i was talking loudly into the mic, you would hardly hear the recording when played back (even at full volume)
Have you ever had any problems with this Samson R10S microphone??
@spanner1995 I did have to up the gain a bit in post, but otherwise it did pretty well. On my Mac, my volume is quite low. I'd recommend plugging it into a mic pre-amp.
@inferno10 how did you up the gain? and i dont have the money to buy a preamp, sorry im new to this, all i wanted was a cheap mic to use how you have in this video :/
@spanner1995 Final Cut Pro, which I use for editing, has the ability to increase gain. Depending on what camera you're using, you might be able to also increase gain in-camera.
