  • hey man i have the same exact truck 2009 white ford platinum and love the borla exhaust. but were you able to tell the difference in power on the new exhaust and did it save on gas and if so how much

  • @RLumbo1 There are no HP or torque improvements, no gas mileage improvements. This is purely for sound.

I am pretty sure the Ford engineers would not have missed an opportunity to increase either simply by adding a SIDO exhaust.

If anything, my mileage is worse since I drive it harder off the line just to hear the rumble.

  • sounds pretty sweet. can you do a full tour and walkaround of the truck?

  • @northsiderollers I am not sure that would produce much. Depending where you are, there might, or might not be, echos and such. Typically, up front there is little noise, it increases as you head back.

Inside, it is noticablly louder, but much deeper, not a rice burner fart-pipe tone at all. I towed a large trailer on the weekend, going up hills, you really notice the growl.
