although, in later levels this doesn't work as well since you will need slowmo when hordes of enemies come at you, you have to slow down some to fight the rest etc. etc.

yea man this game definitely makes you plan ahead. i found myself constantly switching weapons, any weapon that was full i would use that ammo until it was low so i didn't have to leave any ammo behind.

i also had to backtrack on more than a few occasions to buy ammo.

the easiest thing i found is to use your 'slowmo' (can't remember name now) on monsters then melee them, especially around areas that had a recharge receptacle.
