Patrick Murphy, who was the main person pushing the repeal in Congress, was not re-elected to Congress and lost his seat to a Republican after they passed the repeal. most people agree he lost his seat because of his support of gays and lesbians openly serving. that is why he deserved that long standing-O. here's a straight man, who after serving his country, he sacrificed his political career to do the right thing. heck of a guy.
