Now this is a gem. The first song is Don't Want To Lose Her. No information if Dan wrote this tune or if it was a Coachmen collaboration. The 2nd song is Maybe Time Will Let Me Forget, written by Dan Fogelberg and performed with the Coachmen. Both were recorded 1967 when Dan was 16.

  • I can't thank you enough for this and all the others as well. These are like gifts from heaven. What a miracle. I think Dan's spirit had a hand in this. I'm sure he knows how much his Dan fans are hurting and that this brings us some comfort. That's why they have been sent to you to give to us. Keep em coming. I can't stop crying. Ditto to what everyone else said for this & all the other posts too. Love them all. I am eternally grateful. Thanks from the bottom of my heart Beggars & PBRUD.

  • D Woman!

FANFRIGGINTASTIC!! Damn, even at the ripe old age of 16 the lyrics, the playing, and the great harmonies are there! I guess we shouldn't be surprised, but it's so amazing to hear. You're wonderful for sharing this find with us, thanks so much D and PBRUD.

  • Remarkable. The stunning talent there at the start. I've followed Dan's music since my early 20s. For the music certainly, also to find some pearls Dan would include in each LP, each CD release. Thoughts on life (attempting to follow the path of the "Warrior"), and of course Love ("Are the promises made, worth the price of the game, are the spoils worth the cost of the hunt?"). Those of us who treasure Dan's music, all he gave us, will stay with us forever. This was a real treat. Thanks!

  • Dude I'm 18 and in music and figured out that my 3rd cousin was in this band. Wow, i been doing music for a couple years. Music flows through my veins. i feel like i can do it!

  • This music apparently recorded with Peoria high school buddies from the East Bluff, Woodruff High in Peoria before Fogelberg and Gary Richratth and Head East put Peoria on the rockn'roll map as it were.

  • Wow, brings back memories! Recorded only 5 miles from where I live. Golden Voice Studios did some records for my brother's band. Those were the days! Thanks for sharing!

  • Incredible- thank you so much for letting us hear Dan at age 16- I love it!!!

  • wow

  • Great tune it definitely has A Beatles feel to it!

  • Wow! Early Dan Fogelberg--can't get any better than that! Love it!

  • My brother has a copy of this 45 rpm. It was recorded at Golden Voice Recording studio in Pekin, Il. The record lable was called Ledger...a red lable.

  • May I ask Why the last song was cut off before it was completed?
