it is only designed to be used by hand power not electric motors, as for holding up, i am a 1.85m high hairy builder and built like a brick outhouse and me going flat out has never managed to destroy anyone i have made, you are right that the cells point up wards, but because its hand powered you will never empty the whole cells any way, once you have extracted what you can leave the empty frames on top of the hive for the bees to clean out, there must be hundreds floating around africa allinuse

my name is mihai I am from roumania .bad , wrong idea , the frame should be fixid revers 180 dergrees , because the bees construct the celssis with 14 degrees hight at final and the honey cant be extracted is pushet to the bottom of cell. prove that.

I wonder if the frame will hold up during spinning also the comb is slanted toward the top bar so it would be harder to get them clean this direction

Cheers, I come up with an extractor made of a threaded bar and a bucket with a piece of wood in it. But was making a more complex retaining clip. Till watching your vid. Thanks, though used nylon chopping board at 4" dia. Working great.
