what a great feeling might Eddie have had playing with his whole life idol. Wow, I wish I could play with both of them too.

Dowwnload the audio from this song at searchripgrab doht cohm.

Based on his hair I'd say 1999, so hardly unknown at all.
-
What year is this? Eddie must have been virtually unknown at this time.

During the PSYCHODERELIC tour's stop in Berkeley way back when, I sent Pete a note backstage (I worked for Bill Graham Presents) asking him if he could perform this song that night. He did. It was truly amazing, and he mentioned my note on stage saying, "I get a lot of notes from people who say "Play this" or "Play that".I play what I fuckin' want!!" Then he went into this song. Brought tears to my eyes. Later, a friend gave me a tape of the show. A priceless memory for me!! Thanks Pete!

This song, written by the great country singer, Don Williams, extended across the Atlantic, where, in 1977 Pete, and Ronnie Lane (Faces)did their rendition on "Rough Mix," and now, another generation, Eddie Vedder, showing his love and appreciation, brings the song full circle.
So, so many years, yet the song, a beautiful song, still resonates the deepest of feelings of love.
In the last few seconds, Pete begins "Sheraton Gibson," from his '72 release, "Who Came First." More beautiful music.
