Keep Portland Weird!
Roughly 2,000 people with news crews on site but no Official Record Keepers... This IS the National record for largest flash mob freeze.
Going for WORLD RECORD on June 25th this coming Summer.
Make sure you're a part of history!

The free-fly camera style going over people's heads at 3:03 switching from 1st person walking view to 360 rotational shots like at 3:14 and then heli style bird's-eye shots around 8:30..
All done by holding the base of my tripod and making adjustments to the legs and x/y axis bezels on the fly to execute different shots. This also filtered out most of my physical motion and any shaking by putting a 2+ foot lever between me and the lens.

Footage has no editing; no audio, not cutting, no effects.
Couldn't get Adobe After Effects to render at good quality - I'm not a vid editor lol.
If you would like to do some editing and claim the vid, let me know and i'll send the raw file.

I was holding the bottom of my tripod and making adjustments on the fly to get different angles.

It also isolates the camera from shaking and footsteps since the tripod makes up a 2+ foot long lever between my hand and the camera.
