Brian returns the compliment at Celtic Connections. Search for Taladh na Beinne Ghuirme on YouTube. The lyrics are there too. Lovely rendering by both lads.
I first heard this song on the Cape Breton Lullabies CD while at my work term for school it is a beautiful song and I love using it to put my little guy to sleep it is very relaxing!
Saw Jeff perform this at the 2007 Celtic Colours Tribute to Donnie MacDonald and was immediately enamored. It was evident from his speech that he loves his land and language but his rendition of this song and the story behind it brings it home. Fantastic fer sure!
Jeff, if you read this i want to say a heartfelt 'Thank You'
