or steal the keys to my mom's lingenfelter twin turbo vette? lol i think i win, anyways, ive owned both of these cars, the mustang takes off the line alot harder, the eclipse's first gear is screwey and they were notoriously bad off the line, the mustang wins in torque, however the eclipse has more top end horsepower, its a well known fact that they are hard to beat 65-100. just depends on how fast your willing to go to on who wins.

@allstarsmustang ripp supercharger gt beats a mustang v8 nuff said, check some videos of ripp eclipse. Mitsubishi needs that stuff stock.

dont rely on youtube videos for 100% unbias performance. u never know whats under these hoods. my gt has CAI and x pipe. the mods alone dont offer much in hp and ive raced these eclipses before .they think they win when i let off the gas as to not go over 65 mph. already 2 cars ahead of them then they fly by as im slowin.

don't get 2 happy 4 a eclipse this one is pretty fast ur goin 2 need alot more 2 run a gt, i had a 06 v6 mustang with headers exhaust intake ram air hood n superchips n I would pull 2 cars on this eclipse

i have an 01 eclipse with a full exhaust and K&N typhoon intake. a neighbor of mine has a mustang gt but im afraid to race him, but this vid gave me a confidence boost.
