Spiritual Teacher and author was born in Germany and educated at the Universities of London and Cambridge. At the age of twenty-nine a profound inner transformation radically changed the course of his life. The next few years were devoted to understanding, integrating and deepening that transformation, which marked the beginning of an intense inward journey. Later, he began to work in London with individuals and small groups as a counselor and spiritual teacher. Since 1995 he has lived in Vancouver, Canada.

Eckhart Tolle is the author of the #1 New York Times bestseller The Power of Now (translated into 33 languages) and the highly acclaimed follow-up A New Earth, which are widely regarded as two of the most influential spiritual books of our time.

  • Thankyou Shara! Your videos are inspiring! The power of making decisions, with love as impetus. Finding that when doing something I love, whether it be listening or helping a friend, painting/drawing, listening to music, reading a great book or simply being in nature... can connect to the present, let go of 'thoughts about things', and notice the magic. An ongoing process too, forgiving, letting go, creating memories that one wants to keep.

  • Beautiful.

  • I can agree with this. I have been a piano player since i was only a few years old. And whenever I have to perform for a compitition, a recital or just out of pure enjoyment, I am right here and now which is absolutely vital for concentration in a performance situation. I remember last years compition. My first performance didnt go as well as i thought and so i was brooding over that during my second and it was pretty sloppy. :(

  • Beautiful. Thank you.

  • ~~wonderful discussion found at Stushie.wordpress about the book: ~~"A New Earth"~~~it is a condensed page by page "main thought"~~teaching and worth reading thru!~~~

  • Thank You
