bonham is very jazz influenced. he said so himself. he listened to buddy rich, louis bellson, art blakey,and gene krupa to name but a few. he also acknowledged ginger baker and keith moon.he took their sounds and ideas and forged a style of his own. i'm not discounting him, i'm just saying he wasn't the most original drummer of all time. kudos for using the best pedal of all time, "ludwig speedking".i love the squeak it made on the zep albums.he also acknowledged his good friend carmine appice
