I have had three porsches over the years, a 59 Roadster, an 84 911SC and an 02 911 Turbo. All nice cars, but VERY costly to maintain. I traded the Turbo in on an 07 Z06 and love it! It's got a 5 year 100k warranty and 25mpg highway. My car is stock and I have beat EVERY stock Porsche I have raced.......

@MRK4JC you beat a stock porsche with 200hp less than you shitty cheap plastic piece of shit corvette not a gt2,we all know a porsche is way faster than any corvette,just when its a 400hp of course a vett with over 600hp would win,but does that look like a victory?

This is a 996 (older) GT3, and not the more expensive (and faster) GT2.

The GT2 has vents just in front of the rear wheels, like the Porsche Turbos, and has a different rear spoiler and headlights.

Top speed of a z06 is 198.  Top speed for a GT2 is 206

@Rastamut My freind a turbo will also lose to a z06 i have an 07 and smoked a brand new twin turbo 2010 911 on a roll from 60 mph to 180.No joke the z06 is very very fast.Two guys in each car we were 4 car legths ahead by the time we reached 180 mph!

The same two dudes did Dustball Rally in 2008 in same cars. Porsche led the entire trip while the Corvette broke torque tube and had to fly home. Porsche went on to do another rally and 4 track days before being sold in pristine condition.

@Rastamut The problem with you is you don't know that the Z06 has a faster lap time on the nurburgring than the GT3, and in Car and Drivers recent lightning lap the Z06 Carbon was faster than the GT3 RS

its ok krouts we beat you in a war and u got buthurt now all the fans of your wailing wonder all cry wa wa when it gets passed woopde crap....FACT its a GT3 not a GT2 that i agree i can also say that even this model GT3 is more expensive to montain and use than a Z06 my friend from high school ryan had one so fact is amore expensive car got passed ...now ill use what every porsche fan has used ......."BYE"
