You can see his head moving. And it always stays at the same speed. That's why I don't think he speeded up the movie. I know someone, solving the rubics cube pretty fast, that's why I know that this is possible. No problem with that. Just needs a lot of practice.

You can look at it as much as you want before the start, duh.

You can look at the rubiks cube as much as you want before you solve it, that is how most of the pros do it anyway.
Plus it puts you at an advantage because you start out knowing which moves you are going to begin with.
