i've raced both. quartermidgets are great but your too old to be starting in them. mini cups don't require any skill and don't teach you how to be a good driver. who ever has the fastest motor is the person that wins every week. they do race them on dirt though where they are known as cyclones. if you want to get into racing start off in a mini stock or street stock. theyre cheap and will teach you how to race better then anything else.

I'm thinking about starting racing. I'm thirteen My dad used to drive Formula Vee's in SCCA and I thought I should try racing myself. What should I doquarter midgets or mini cups? I would prefer mini cup cars. Also do they race mini cups on dirt by any chance? I doubt it but wanna make sure.

this kind of car is very safe and the yellow car came out of the turn and prob did not see him that happens but this kind of car have radio so he new about it right after it happened if that was payback it was far to much payback should be a littel tire rob on the dore or none at all.
