I'd be surprised if that thing even ran right. It probably runs SO rich he can't even pass a gas station. That what they don't tell you when they sell you these Ebay kits. Sure you can buy a 700 HP BOLT ON turbo kit for the 5sfe. But without a standalone engine management system it's never going to run right. That is probably why he only shows it all shiny and pretty and not running. You get one of these kits you going to need Megasquirt. And screw that intercooler..too small..lmao..

Wow seriously? How much HP you end up with this set up? Forget these 'Ebay kit's. Just find a 3sgte Turbo set up. Take ALL it's parts for the turbo set up, bolt it right on up to your 5sfe and you will end up with a FASTER than stock 3sgte MR2. Don't waste your time on these kits. The 5sfe will handle up to 225 HP on stock rods and pistons valves and rockers. These ''300 HP Bolt On Turbo Kits' from Ebay are junk. And look at that intercooler..lol...NO THANKS. I see everyone is starting to mount their intercoolers on the driver side like I did now. It makes so much more sense.
Are those injectors large enough for that turbo?

sweet i have a 93 hardtop i'm going to 5sfte. how's the ebay bov and intercooler working? did you port and polish your heads? did you use 3sgte valve springs and 2 jzz valves? what cam?
what ems are you using? i'm trying to megasquirt my car first, then do the above to 5sfte it.
sweet car, post videos of it running and what does it dyno at?
