This thing happens a whole lot then the off-ramp is on the left. A highway comes to mind - Decarie Circle (in Montreal, Quebec) at the start, to merge from Highway 40 (a highway that goes from the Ontario border to Quebec City) to Highway 15 (a Highway that goes from Sainte-Agathe, Quebec to Lacolle, Quebec Canada/the US Border)
