Recorded live at The Agora Ballroom in Cleveland, Ohio in 1975. The song was on the debut album KANSAS and was written by J.J.Cale. This show was on the Song For America tour (I think). The band has now released 4 songs from this show and from listening to those four it is my opinion that this is the best live recorded concert of Kansas ever! I wish they would stop dribbling it out one song at a time on remastered discs and compilations.

Steve Walsh - Keyboards, Vocals
Kerry Livgren - Keyboards, Guitars
Robby Steinhardt - Vocals, Violin
Rich Williams - Guitars
Dave Hope - Bass
Phil Ehart - Drums

  • What are the 4 songs from this show?

Bringing it back on Kansas re-release

Down the Road on Song for America re-release

Lonley Street on Live at Whisky as a bonus track

    4th one is?

I've heard that a European issue of Whisky has Journey from Mariabronn. Is that # 4?

  • The 4th was the first released on the 1994 box set. It was Incomudro - Hymn To The Atman.

  • Okay, but does anybody know from what concert Journey from M is on the European issue of Whisky? I've got that copy.

  • I don't know because I haven't heard that one or read anything about it. Sounds cool. Why don't you post it? If it is really high quality it may be from 7/7/75! There are a half a dozen good early recordings of JFM from 1974 and 1975 maybe more!

  • Very good work, Rick! I have always loved this song and this long live version kicks ass! 5***** :-)

    Michael.
