wow she is so incredibly talented she is one of the rare artistst whose live performances are better than simply listening to the album. She somehow reminds me of good old Tina Turner in this vid (though many fans will probably hate me for saying this but i think it is true...).

I can't grow tired of being amazed by this bitch. Look at that. What control she displays and yet you know it's coming from deep inside, from an honest place. It's incredible. I got to see her while she was on the road promoting her last album, Can'tneverdidnothin', and I even got to meet her. The woman is just delish!

Why this woman is not at the top of the charts and more famous than that Lady Gagag is beyond me! She is powerfully phenomenal! A brilliant artist to the hilt! I would sign a petition for her to play someone's life story, make films, etc. Ms. Costa is great!

i don't know if anyone's commented on it yet how badass it is that she's just HOLDing that tambourine! i don't know what was going through her mind at the performance, but i wondered if she just liked the seething intensity with the downplayed comping she had and figured the 16th notes woulda been "too much." she's a true artist.... maybe the tambourine was a tribute to the bootyshaker that this song inherently is...? whatever. Nikka's "cooking" is good either way!

NIkka Costa would sing so many of these super-famous chicks under the table.... She is one of the only artists out there making REAL music anymore!!!!! I guess being one of the few really makes her stand out though. Go Nikka!
