We have built a 75" multitouch-table designed by Duncan McCauley, Berlin, for the temporary Exhibition "HU 200" in the in the public foyer of the "Jacob-und-Wilhelm-Grimm-Zentrum", the new academic library of the Humboldt-University, Berlin. The multitouch multiuser application features an interactive map of Berlin with all locations of the different faculties which belong to the Humboldt -University and sets them in a historic context. The size of 75" is the maximum screen size which can be realized using a single FullHD projector and still guaranteeing perfect image quality. The table works fully automated without intervention by an integrated programmable show control system. It also calibrates itself automatically after each startup.
