i found that using a piece of cardboard, (not the corrugated stuff) or construction paper to trace the part to be replaced. then bend, fold and trim the cardboard so it looks exactly like the piece your going to replace, then open it up and trace it on the sheetmetal and cut it out. if something does not come out right, toss the cardboard and try it again. cardboard is cheaper than sheetmetal
