Ultimate Quake Frag Video - AnnihilatioN HQ

Came across this awesome Quake III frag video while browsing through a quake forum around a year ago. Everyone featured in this video are pro (e.g. Fatal1ty) and many of them have become finalists in several international tournaments.

One of the best Video Game Music Montage Videos ever made! Console fanboy's will NEVER understand the lack of control they have using a controller when it comes to fps games, because you cannot pull of the shit in this video with a controller, i don't care how good you think you are with one! It's virtually IMPOSSIBLE!

I miss the days when shooters required skill. No aim down the sights, no slow movement, no grenade spamming, no cover systems or training wheels of any kind, no pandering to the unskilled masses for better marketing. Just Pure skill.

@Banminator I agree. They try to blend realism with arcade so much that neither aspect is good enough. They should let people decide if they want ArmA style with OPTIONAL Hollywood shit, or Quake. The best blend I've seen so far was Arsenal mod for UT 2004.

This was probably the golden age of fps gaming. you absolutely needed to know what you were doing or else you didn't get very far. nowadays we got some real lame ass shit like health regeneration and aim asists, basically catering "n00bs". I could go on with more about that but with the new generation fps games, developers make all these cheap mechanics for obvious marketing reasons...nevertheless, lets all see what ID shows off with Doom 4..
