Nothing really; they give flavor, insight, and background design information on things to flesh out the game world and make it seem more immersive.

They're collector items. If you want to 100% a game, you need to do as much as you can!

just because of this walkthrough, gameplay makes me think back to the zero series and its awesomeness

@Cristlerose No, it doesn't. Well, actually, it DOES, but only on Easy Mode. On all the others, you die easily, as if the other modes were like real life. Get the idea?
