Nut the way u makin it sound is like Jay's carrrer was resting on UGK's shoulders. I mean before the south was even in the picture NY rap was doin well anyway. It wasnt until Outkast came in the scene that the south really started to take over the game. But its almost a lose lose situation. If Jay Z works with UGK he's usin them and he gets credit for workin with them in the south. If he doesnt work with them he's not tryin to help the south and he's under estimating them. Its a lose lose.
