Mostly photos, but with some video clips thrown in, this compilation shows Waterloo International station from the last few weeks before closure to its state after closing. The music is the theme from Romeo & Juliet, however you may know it as 'Our Tune' which was on Radio 1 and was played in the background to a sad story. Seeing as Waterloo International's current situation is rather sad, the music seems strangely appropriate!

  • November 2008 has been quoted for reopening. It will be interesting to see what they do with it. They are going to need to remove all the customs area, security check point, and reopen the shops. Unless they are going to provide direct access to the platforms without the need to use the original International concourse?

  • I went there yesterday to see the railway children its really intresting inside dark corridors that lead off you was only allowed i the main terminal though

  • woaw! that was a very sad vidoes i miss waterloo.

  • The banner is now an ad for The Railway Children , Which uses the old eurostar terminal.

  • they now put big ad banners and blocked the entrance by putting little shops there

  • What will ever happen to the old international part of the station. Was down a few months ago and it was still sitting empty

  • I Remember Waterloo International very well, shame I never caught the Eurostar from there.

  • Thank you for sharing this film Waterloo will always hold special memories for me being the first place I nervously left the country for the fisrt time.I was sad to see it go but that's progress. The new line is faster but lacks the open views of famous land marks I so enjoyed from this route

  • Beautiful

  • i meant South West Trains
