  • Have they become a tribute band to themselves? I am still too young to forget Hammersmith in 1989 and what a gig that was. This is like watching Rush without Geddy Lee. I was a huge fan of IB but it is not healthy to live a life of nostalgia - tomorrow is all that counts. Surely it is now time to mourn the loss of It Bites and allow the fans to turn off the life support machine. They were the best band ever but that was 20 years ago folks.

  • I was there, absolutely brilliant!

  • i've seen both live and until now Frank has done very little It Bites back catalogue. so it was good to see it bites do the older songs.

Am off to see them tomorrow to the whole "once around the world" album which i'm sure will be amazing but looking forward more to seeing Francis Dunnery and the "new progressives" do It Bites stuff in November.

  • sorry, totally shit, time for the original band to reform.. not about money, it bites were about music & the moment. bob & dick, tightest rhythm section of the time, frank and john? POETS... bury the hatchet, for music's sake... :-)

  • totaly agree mate ... there's only one Franc

  • It's soulless without Dunnery - like Yes without Jon Anderson, or Floyd without Roger Waters. More like a tribute band than the real thing.
