  • join the campaign to have a huge statue of mcgonagall placed upon the tay rail bridge. it would make the statue of liberty look like one of it's own souvenirs.

  • It will be remembered for a very long time!

  • one of my favs...my ex showed me this..we shared a love for both Scotland, poetry and now it seems McGonnegal...not enough mind you to keep him loving me...but sure...nothing;s perfect eh!!! haha....love the post, thank yoiu

  • hahahahaha

  • McGonagall wasn't autistic. His only disease was being totally fucking epic.

Good performance of this by BC. Good work!

  • Great performance of Billy Connolly!

  • I love this..and thanks for posting. Poetry is very personal, if you don't like it that's fair enough but nobody has the right to call any poetry bad..as to someone it's good!

  • Ermm no it is not. However i refuse to get into a debate with someone who types like they have the intelligence of a potato. It has actually been argued recently that McGonagall was in fact autistic and that's why he persisted with his poetry even though he wasn't any good at it whatsoever.

  • @kevfeeney10 its a dark comady, mcgonnigal was a comadian, y u so searious

  • To have thousands of people tell you that you suck and something and just keep doing it. That's the mark of a real man! Everyone idolizes people like Elvis who was born with a great voice but what about someone who was born completely useless at everything but didn't give a f*ck what people thought and just kept on doing what they loved doing just cos they loved it! That's McGonagall!

  • @morganrock1 It's really bad. I have heard many English lecturers do nothing but slate his poetry when he is mentioned. For instance, originally McGonagall wanted "Edinburgh" to be pronounced "edin-borrow" in order for it to rhyme with "sorrow" which is just bizarre. He looks for cheap rhymes throughout all of his poetry, however just because something rhymes does not automatically make it a good poem - rhyme isn't everything - especially when it has basic rhyme schemes like this poem.

  • @kevfeeney10 its fucking epic
