I love these tributes. You see really how much they have achieved. I sometimes forgot about how many hit records that they had. Have they been Inducted Into The Rock N Roll Hall Of Fame. My favorite is "I Can See For Miles" as well as "Saturday Night's Alright For Fighting" from The Elton John/Bernie Taupin Tribute Album from 1997.

On the battlefield of rock, they went toe to toe with the likes of Hendrix, and emerged unscathed. Well said Jack.  I thought Hendrix was their biggest rival, even though they were labelmates, but it was a heavyweight fight on the stage.

@ejdbk And so many other great bands, such as Rush, Queen, AC/DC and Black Sabbath. He just seems like a big kid when he starts talking about these legends (and you unfortunately don't see The Who mentioned too often in movies anymore, but JB hasn't let us Who fans down; see School of Rock and Tenacious D).
