Thank you very much.. I cant pay a professor to teach me that things so i am very thankful for your video

Since I was in teens I have gone without pic. I have been trying it pick-less; tell me if this is an okay way to go, or do I really need to get back some pick skills. And if so, what size do you use. I would really rather prefer to go without, though. Maybe this is just bad habit, but aren't there plenty of players who go without?

This is outstanding. You are a very good teacher. Very patient. Very slow. Great job.

thanks so much!! this is very helpful!!!
what strings do you use? do you a special set of strings for open tunings or do you stay with the standard E strings and retune them???

@soadfe I stay with the standard E strings and retune them. On acoustic steel guitars, what I prefer to do is to buy the thickest steel G string I can find and substitute the steel string for the wound G string (the wound string commonly included in a full set). It produces more clarity, plus it's way easier to bend than a wound string. Trying to bend up to pitch with a wound 3rd string is difficult. It's tough on the hand too.
