Olympic pins originated in Athens, Greece at the 1896 Summer Games as a way to identify the athletes, but for Sid The Pin Man Hopkins it began 100 years later during the 1996 Olympics in Atlanta. Sid does not trade pins for profit. He has a much greater purpose. In this video see how Southern Baptist Volunteer Sid Hopkins uses pin trading as a tool to share the gospel of Christ with thousands of Olympic spectators. Video Courtesy of the NAMB.
