  • Thanks so much Pat, love your videos and have subscribed.

  • hi Wanda!

The foot is called a 'darning' foot and most machines come with it. Since you don't have one, go to a sewing machine dealer and have them order one for your machine. Or go to an online sewing machine store and put in your machine model and make.. anyone should be able to get it for you

  • i like to know where i can find that foot, thanks

  • Your Welcome!

When I start I do several stitches in place. Then I cut the threads close to the surface. I don't bury them.. takes too much time..hehe!

But if you are doing competition you may want to do that extra effort of pulling to the back, doing a knot, popping the knot and weaving the ends into the batting.

  • Hi Pat,

thank you for sharing your tip.

One quick question - do you just cut the thread tails from your jump close to the fabric, or do you burry the thread ends in the quilt batting?

  • Thanks Pat!!
