ok either im drugs or we have just jumped from the death of muhammad staright to the Abbasid Golden age. Why on earth is there no material on the Rashiduns, the wars of apostey, ridda, where is talk of the fitna, the murder of uthman, the year of unity, the battle of the camel, the entire orogins of division in what we call today the kharaji,shia, sunni sects. Wheres the syrain powerhouse of Mu'awiya, the umayyads, the marwanids, the sufyanids, khurasan,etc WTF? Have I missed a few episodes??
