Mickey Rourke Pinned in 'The Wrestler'

is movie wuz dope!!! it sux tho at the end of da movie, but im glad they brought in actual indie promotions on dis movie like ROH...

I think the people that say that wrestling is fake sort of miss the point.

Saying it's is fake is like saying that Jackie Chan's movies are fake. After all, those guys weren't REALLY mad at Jackie Chan when they chased him to the edge of that building in Rumble in the Bronx. They were just acting.

It doesn't matter. He still jumped from one building to the other.

Wrestlers are showmen that can keep a crowd entertained with a staged match for an hour at a time. That's pretty impressive.

Phenomenal film. A lot of people continue to mention that wrestling is fake, which it is, but this movie isn't really about wrestling. Wrestling is simply the vehicle used to convey the film's real purpose.

Don't forget that Marisa Tomei's performance is superb as well.

You can tell Aronofsky meant business with Mickey, because his hard work really paid off. One of the greatest performances ever!

It has nothing to do with pussies. It's about giving the prize for the movies that endorses the leftist agenda. Look at the nominees of this year and the one before it and realize how much leftist garbage is there.

this movie reminds me a lot about the documentary done on Jake "The Snake" Roberts some years back, am I the only one who sees that? just a thought.........

Very good film. It wasn't too hyped and it actually did better with critics than Slumdog.

This movie is drop dead Brilliant! I mean I know wrestling is fake but Mickey Rourke was amazing in this movie. Fav movie by far
