  • I've just made a 6000lt pond and have the pond skimmer and oase filtocrear 30000 with 55watt uv. I'll be filling it up soon. Do you think that is enough to keep it clear?

  • @nigeminiski couldnt say mate mine was trial and error

  • nice place to chill out

  • @anthonybarrett79 thanks

  • how much did it all cost??

  • @ODonnellTV well i made the bio filter out of a waste bin (really cheap). the pressure filter cost about £400.... you can buy it alot cheaper now.

  • My koi pond is alread dug up (roughly 20feet radius and 10depth) and we shall be filling it this weekend, but I had a question--something that's confused me for a long time.

Is the filter that cleans the water the same one that oxygenates it? Or must you have two seperate filters for each task?

    Your fish are beautiful. :)

  • @TheLewismerle hey sorry for the late response its a bio filter... its full of loads of sponges.

i found that if the bio filter is good enough, you dont need to use a uv(in direct sunlight.

you can make your own bio filter really cheap

  • what was that last bucket thing you showed, and i have the 11000 oase UV Filter. Is the UV Filter enough to keep my pond clear enough? ow and i have roughly 4000 gallons in my pond

  • @ODonnellTV $800/£600
