This is a really, really difficult song to perform with lyrics. The tempo changes constantly, and being a live track, the melody and cadence are all improvised, making it hard to memorize and perform.

If you're one of those people that just sort of hum and mumble your way through songs, it won't present too many problems, however, since everything's pretty much on key, and timing doesn't matter when you're humming a solid pitch.

Last note: The crowd singalong on this song is epic. I followed it wherever I could get away with it.

I like Van Canto well enough, but their cover of Fear of the Dark is honestly not one of their better work. Totally misses the point of the song - it's "pretty" from a musical standpoint, but that's not what the song is about.

I don't have any RB vids because I play GH, and it was to be vids, it must've been vocal vids, but I don't really know how good I sound from other peoples view. Anyways, was it ment to be bad against me..? Like.. sort of sarcasm?

I will have to agree, I also like the Van Canto version more, and by quite a bit. The only thing I really like more about this version is the drummer is like 500 fold better than the drummer in Van Canto.

Not saying the Iron Maiden version is bad, no not by any means. I loved this song before it was covered, and it was always one of my favorites. But, I do have to say I like Van Canto's version. Maybe I have a soft spot for a cappella. :)
