If you look VERY good, you can see that Valdes is touching the ball a little and than the ball goes a little bit forward, so Soldado can't hit the ball very good with his foot, and he missed. Just bad luck for Soldado.

it was not his mistake !!! he made awsome n gperfect tyming run and made a gud try but valdez touched it n it got behind him ! no one even pele wouldve missed it !

Valdes tipped it on to the one area he couldn't tap it in. Good game that was, and Soldado has unbelievably good movement when playing off CB's. In it's own way it's very like how Ian rush would do it.
