One of the very basic aspects of running Involver applications is their management on your Facebook fan page. Facebook now lists applications in the left hand sidebar, with the ability to reorder, rename, hide or uninstall them. The video below, from Involver's Director of Product Marketing, Roland Smart, explains how to reorder applications in your sidebar, and the difference between hiding and uninstalling them. You can also find complete instructions on our documentation site under Managing Involver Applications.

A Quick Summary
As the video explains, reordering applications is easy. First, click More to see your entire list of available apps. This will also surface the Edit button. From here, you can Hide an application by clicking the X to the right of the app you wish to hide. While this removes the application from your fan page, it does not uninstall it, which is an important distinction for customers who only have the ability to run two applications at a time.

If you wish to uninstall the application (i.e. so as to be able to add another), click Edit Page in the upper right of your fan page, then click on Apps in the list that appears to the left. Click the X to the right of the app you wish to uninstall. A confirmation will pop up, making sure you want to uninstall. When you click on the blue rectangle labeled Remove, the app is removed completely from your fan page.

Facebook has also made it easier for users to change the names of the applications that appear to the left of their Facebook wall. If you're not there already, click Edit Page in the upper right of your fan page, then click on Apps in the list that appears to the left. Click on Edit Settings under the app you wish to rename and a pop-up will appear. Type a new tab name in the box to the right of where it says Custom Tab Name. Click Save.

That's how easy it is to manage your applications on Facebook. For more details about how to manage specific applications, please visit our Documentation site.
