Iv got a 1995 model and what a bike,i use mine for a 240 mile round trip to work and back. And i will never get rid of it.

i rode with my '08 tenere ~ 3700 km, most in the city and wet

condition, with the standard tyres and after the tyres get a bit used,

i could reach 100 km/h without any move or slide.

Im a rookie, but i never had difficulties with the tenere.

But in the corners you must keep that in mind,

it has high center of gravity and the standard tyres arent slicks.

For me the brakes are great, the asphalt glitches cause no problems

I highly recommend the Akra exhaust
