Striped Marlin on a Jigging rod

Location - 3 Kings Islands, The boat - Enchanter - Troy puts the Jigstar Kojak 350 Acid Wrapped rod to the test on a 100kg striped marlin. This rod paired up with the Jigging Master PE7 reel is more than a match for this marlin. With only a total of 300 meters of briad line it could go all wrong..........................is this the future of Marlin fishing??

Nice one Troy, you will be stocked with that effort. were you trolling or tease and switch with bait? Do you rate the PE reels? i see from ur footage you have put them through some hard work at durville island., have you seen or used any of the shimano OCEA jiggers

Straight live bait, was a pack attack with this one the only one sticking. The PE reels are awesome, best reels i have used to date. Ocea Jiggers are also great reels, you will see on a coule of my earlier videos us using them paired with Jigging Master rods. I think if the PE reels had more capacity then more people would use them for this type of fishing. I here on the grape vine a PE10 2 speed coming out that will have more capacity, now that would be awesome on marlin and tuna.
