  • I got greeted when I flew into Bangor Maine in 2004 and in Fort Worth 2010. It was amazing. I walked into the Fort Worth terminal and as we walked on the mezinine we could see people down below cheering us. Then when we got outside I was expecting to just get on a bus and head to my connection flight(I was on mid-tour leave) but when I saw all the ppl outside lined up to shake our hands I almost lost it. I was like "Don't be a pussy dude, people are watching." lol 11B20

  • @imdeceptacon I'm usually not so "moved" to post vid comments, but this doc. elicited the same response from myself...

  • Simply amazing! Thank you to these wonderful people!!!

  • I found it streaming on Netflix if anyone has not seen it yet. It is so wonderful to see that America still exists.

  • movies like this give me hope for humanity.

  • The last time I cried at a movie - and I mean really cried - was when I was 8 years old. The movie was Lassie Come Home. I cried several times throughout The Way We Get By. Again, I mean I really cried. What beautiful people. Their selflessness and observations about how to live a rich life are the perfect antidotes to today's selfishness. This movie should be required viewing!

  • These are the nicest people I've ever seen. Much respect.

  • 恐ろしい!おまえは私のヒーロー!!

  • I saw this show - Americana at its best!
