A continuation of Part I. In the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina, attorney Ashton R. O'Dwyer Jr., spoke out about the inadequate preparation and response of local, state and federal governments to the needs of New Orleans' residents and visitors to the city. He also filed the first class action lawsuit against those whom he felt were responsible for the government's failure to protect the city and its citizens. These acts targeted him for imprisonment and brutalization, which was followed by a series of events that led to his suspension, disbarment and malicious prosecution. Here, he talks about some of the people who appear to have been instrumental in the adversities to which he was subjected.
