The sad part of this tragic situation is how many children are being affected by the ever shrinking middle class in this country. I live here in Seminole county, FL. I recently took in my friend and her 4 children because she lost her home. We both work 45+ hours a week and make little over the amount required fo food stamps. It's so painful to choose between rent, lights and food. I only have bare minimum, no luxury like cable or wifi at home and after day care payment I can barely scrape by. I will never forget the night we had to split a bag of soy beans between 6 hungry kids. I hope my children will never remember. To

It is a real shame that kid had to drop out of high school in his senior year to find work to help out his family. A wonderful thought and act, but without a high school diploma, work is not easy to find. I feel sorry for him and his family.
