OSPF How to set up pt 4 - Multi Areas WITH VIRTUAL LINK

Ooo doggy. We get into Multi area OSPF. Look at the routing table and what happens, as that's really the key to understanding and putting the pieces together. We use some tools like show ip ospf neighbors, if it's not in there the neighbors won't form. We look at Area 0 and Area 1 and see what does Area 1 routers see compared to Area 0 and what does Area 2 which we add into the mix see?

It's good fun and important to know for your exams, especially CCNP level material such as the BSCI but this stuff is great for the CCIE RS which they test EVERYTYHING on ospf!

Going to set up Virtual links in this series as well, which will be towards the end. My thoughts are "Learn by configuration" that's how I learn things. See what's in the routing table and what's not can tell you mostly what you need to know how something works.

Next video we explore Stub areas. Totally stubby, Not so stubby area and TOTALLY NOT SO STUBBY STUBBY AREA. Who makes up these names? No idea, I think they were enjoying some kind of magical potion at the time.
