  • Well there you go. I guess you win. Congrats.

  • Wow, funny how someone who isn't old enough to know what they're talking about can have such strong opinions about some music and artists they've never even seen nor experienced live. And yes, I can tell by what you say as to how much you really do not know about jazz. Any one who has seen and heard what I have can. Google and Youtube cannot give you the experience of being there. So, if I seem like an old douche to you, it may be because you're a young douche without any experience of living.

  • Wow. I didn't realize how well you knew me. Maybe we should hang out some time. Arguing this is pointless. You can't argue about who's opinion is "right". I went to your page and realized who I was arguing with. You are too old to get the new directions in jazz obviously and that is sad. I'm just glad that not all the older cats are as close minded as you are. As for the history of jazz believe me I know plenty but I'm not gonna start that debate with you. You just seem like an angry old douche.

  • You know nothing about the jazz community, nor are you apart of it. You're just another person out there spouting off crap and don't know what the hell you're talking about. For God's sake, before you start trying to tell people what jazz is, try reading some books on it's history first. Just by your statement, I see that you don't have a clue as to jazz's musical language nor the history of it's development. Please go somewhere and some books before continuing to show your ignorance.

  • There are far too many people in the "jazz community" that don't really accept jazz as a way of approaching music. They think it's a style or genre, a specific sound. It's not. It has always changed with the times. It's all about the evolution of improvisation within the musician's current surroundings. Get used to it or shut up. I like the old stuff as much as the new, if not more so, but I'm not bitching about it and neglecting the obvious advancement of the musical ideas I love.

  • The only insane person here is you. If you smell a nazi, it's just you smelling yourself. Your comment is baseless and let's everyone here see that you're an idiot.

  • Insanity. I smell a nazi.

  • Magnifique. The Real Deal.

Beautiful quality filming, captures the feeling of the clubs.

Why do people have to judge the "sounds" - what's all this complaining about "noise" -- do we all have to have thge same ears? How many "classic" jazz musicians were received as"noise" when they first made their sounds? There's room for diversity and meanwhile, "mainstream" jazz, and commercial jazz has got it's own audience of listeners. No worries. Just make the music people.

  • Nice! Sorry I wasn't there to be part of it. G. F. Mlely

  • Fantastic drummers!Exciting camera work!Edgy graphics!What's not to like?
