the solo is fantastic (and far more impressive in person) but i'm just as impressed nils can spin around consecutively so many times while playing and not fall over.....that takes some doing!

He USED to do full flips, standing up, while playing the guitar!

Nils is awesome on the guitar but I wouldn't call that somesault on the ground a "flip".

@mwvdzee bruce didn't co-wrote the song.. Bruce WROTE the song, but he didn't publish it so he gave the song to Patti Smith (adapting the text for a woman, in fact the 2 lyrics are different), that was recordindg her album in the studio near Bruce at the time of "in the edge of dark" session
