I just found out that my Great uncle was in 156 Squadron and that he may possibly be in this video, or may know the servicemen that was in this video.. If anybody else had family in 156 Squadron then please get in touch, my great uncle was a Pilot Officer and flew 19 missions before being shot down in 1944. his last target was Schweinfurt, but he was shot down over France
yes, they may have been 19-20 years of age but they were speaking on intercom at 15,000+ feet with oxygen, cold, enemy flak and a journey home. which would tend to make you old, or young
