Funny how so many people who hadn't followed the show and didn't know who the contestants were or who Daniel Bedingfield thought Alistair was the guest and Daniel was the contestant and said "I'm not surprised the chubby, mousey-haired guy with the squeaky voice didn't win, he was shown up by the guest."

I thought this was a fairly mediocre performance by him. The consistent stopping and catching up he does throughout the song ruins the sweetness of the song. It seems like he's trying to hard to be different. If he sang it closer to the studio version, more people would enjoy it. As for the guy he sang with, his voice is really good, but I don't feel it blends well with Daniel's style. Also, the harmonies for that song are kind of awkward anyway. It's hard to pull off the duet for this song. Gj.
