Do a little homework and you'll see what a one sided BS account this is of the crisis.

This is exactly what happened to the housing market but maybe only half to blame for our current economic situation. Pretty much everything is spot on and I know for a fact that it is because I worked in home lending for 5-6 years during this exact timeline. I was aware of all this as it was going on because it was my job to know and knowing made me alot of money as well as enabling me to cut & run at the right time.

all this left vs right rhetoric only serves to further divide us...
this video explains the housing bubble well... and this is what happens when govt interferes with capitalism... however the "housing bubble" is NOT the core of this crisis... unsound money IS. We must get over our petty differences and realize that we are all victims of a gigantic ponzi scheme... rich or poor... we are all in on this together... peace and love

An excellent point... if the Federal Reserve had not been printing money like crazy since 1913 there would never have been any bubbles to burst. The "economic cycles" of boom and bust are not naturally occurring economic phenomena, they are government-induced. Without all the money-printing one could still buy a house for $25,000 and an automobile for $2,500.

Naw, the Chinese will get their money back... but with absolutely worthless paper dollars being printed by Ben Bernanke for Obama.
