Iji - Extreme Pacifist Finale - Sector X, Part Two (Massacre, General Tor)

Final boss, hardest boss, longest boss, still quite fun to fight.

I do the text before/after real fast, and try to slow down for parts changed by the pacifist run. I also kill him with the Massacre (which I had never heard of or seen in videos before playing this level, hmm) and trigger a certain message before the ending.

0 kills! Zero! Whooptee. Too bad there's NO ACTUAL REWARD. :(

I just wanna know how you're getting 2 HP from health powerups on extreme :p

Possibly the most amazing fight (many attacks, interesting patterns, very closely matched power, etc.) of any Indie Game out there. Or at least, that I've played, and that's quite a few.

Honestly, with the music and all, this should be something of an example for "real" game companies. This fight is BAD ASS.

The first time I saw General Tor jump into the air and explode, I was so confused I thought I won.

I think I only had it happen once and I had to have it happen on purpose.. ;P

@LordTyphoon If you keep dodging Tor's charge balls, he'll send a shockwave that knocks Iji in the air. If you get hit by that, the Phantom Hammer is unavoidable; it's a blue-white beam that instantly kills her. (To add insult to injury, it reduces all your stats to 1 too.)

However, I guess I might've underestimated the Massacre's ability, and maybe shunned it since it makes me hurt myself.

But it's been forever since I played this, I don't even recall what the phantom hammer is..

Why don't you use the Massacre more? Tor can't fire the Phantom hammer after he loses a few health bars, and it deals more damage than a charge ball does.
