Yes, our physical strength cannot make us fly, but our intellgence and imagination can make us fly. Intelliegnce is human's "winning ticket" oevr other species.

About evolution, why do we want to fly? I mean that we can still survive without flying in the sky.

  • @applesweeter Thank you! I don't know why nobody else felt interested in answering your question, I mean among those interested in this aircraft. Anyway, thinking that a fit person can fly if motivated and if given the proper technical supports/protesis is simply amazing: Yes, this is sport, but this is also pure enginering. Human beings have not evolved to fly, but they can compensate their lack of energy and their inadapted anatomy with their imaginative brain. Great!

    Nice opinion!!

After all, it is a good way to exercise in the sky. What do you think?

  • @applesweeter 1) I suppose because we want to be free, and not depend on a form of energy we need to collect in the environment, being it renewable (like wind or sun) or not. Of course, while you spend energy to pedal, you need more energy (food), but the final mechanical energy comes directly from your body: No engine involved, you are the engine. 2) Pedaling is the easiest way to produce energy as we are bipedal, and it lets our very agile hands free to pilot the machine. Just my 2 cents. :)

  • Dear All,

i have some questions about psychology:

    (1) Why do we want to design and to fly human powered airship while we have jet engines?

    (2) Why do we enjoy to fly in the same way as cycling a bike?

THANK YOU IN ADVANCE for your creative ideas and brainstorm!!! :)

  • handle bar to bring it up and down , steering wheel to turn it left and right , and the pedals to control the fans , right??????

or did i give you an idea to upgrade what u got now???
